This week we prepared to open one of our new hospitals. As part of the go-live, we had a commandcenter that we had to staff 24/7. I got the pleasure of working 3 6am – 2:30pm shifts this last week.

The first day was alright.. the second day was bad – but the third day was not too bad, surprisingly.

I did still take 1-1.5 hour naps in the afternoon after coming home each day – which was actually fairly pleasant. 🙂

Thursday after work, I got to rush to the airport and pick up my dad – who’s visiting through the 4th.

We’ll see if I manage to get up early next week – well, thursday – since I have off monday/tuesday.. Oh, I will indeed enjoy the 5-day weekend. 🙂
