Just a lazy Saturday photographing on South Congress….
A few months ago, Ritz contacted me about her husbands upcoming birthday. He had previously said that he always wanted to do a photo shoot at the Cathedral of Junk, and she wanted to surprise him for his birthday.
It was a wonderful day with wonderful people.

Last weekend it was my friend Laura’s birthday, and for part of it she wanted to visit the Hope Outdoor Gallery – a.k.a. “The Graffiti Wall”
We trekked down there as the sun was starting to set, it was busy with people and several artists who were working on new pieces.
The last two weekends has been the West Austin Studio Tour here.
I spent some time visiting with various artists, though not as much as past years due to exhaustion.
At the end of May I spent a week going to the Texas School of Professional Photographers in Addison, TX.
It was a week booked solid with photography, class, fun, more class, more photography, fun, more photography, some critique, lots of learning… it goes on. It was a complete blast, but I was rather exhausted by the end of it.
