On coming out of photography hiatus….

Boy, it’s been a while since I last posted.

Not for lack of material, but lack of… motivation?

My last few years have been plagued with various levels of minor depression — and it took it’s toll on all sorts of creative aspects of my life. My writing, my photography… you name it. I’ve had good times, but there’s also been some tough times.

Though I finally relented, decided I was done being depressed and started battling my way back into being creative. It took a while, but I’ve started making photographs again, and it’s been a lot of fun.

Further, I started apprenticing with a photographer here in Austin, taking some of the recent events (changes in job, et cetera) as an opportunity to pursue alternate career paths and directions.
