The sidewalk

From my apartment and to the Sam’s Club entrance off Great Hills Trail, the sidewalk is split into concrete sections.
These sections are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 strides long.
I don’t know what that translates to in terms of meters or feet - but it works well enough for me.
I prefer the even-stride ones, because I can start each new section with the same foot. This brings order to the chaos of the universe, somehow.
And that is good.
