One of the things I’ve always wanted to do, was to make money off my photography in some form or another.
So this week was spent organizing all that was neccesary to start putting up images on photoshelter.com.
I realise there’s not much up there now, but hopefully the selection will grow as I comb through my 6000+ photos on my laptop.
So here’s to being entrepreneurial.
Cheers.

… especially when shooting portraits?
I’ve been viewing lots of portrait photographs online lately, and have come across far too many of “I’m smiling, but I really haven’t put my heart into it.” smiles.
I guess one of a photographers greatest tricks, is getting people to open up and be REAL around the camera.. For some people, it comes naturally - but for others… oh, the horror of the unnatural grin plastered on their face makes my eyes hurt.
Being a photographer myself, I don’t have any answers - but I read some tricks somewhere that should help.
I’ll let you know how it goes. :)

As I mentioned here, I’ve been wanting to revive my photographical muse from her sad demise a number of months ago.
Well, I have… sort of. I’ve taken pictures - now it’s a matter of post-processing them (or not), and putting them online.
Look forward to an update somewhere, sometime soon.

The Strobist blog is currently doing the “Lighting 102” semi-course/follow-at-your-own-speed-and-learn-something.
For those of you who know me, you might/should know that I am fairly interested in photography, but lately for whatever reason, it’s fallen on the back burner more than it should.
I fully intend to follow along with the Lighting 102 “class” and to participate in the assignments and lessons, but I might need a nudge or two from you, dear readers, to make sure I stay on track and shoot more than I’m currently doing.
The End.
