Several weeks ago there was also a small, but unknown meteor shower. So small, in fact, that I’ve forgotten which meteor was causing the shower.

However, I did capture some stellar night photographs, with some beautiful (and well-timed) trails, both from stars and other objects….

Night Sky

I think this was 5 minutes or so, aimed at the sky behind my truck.

Trails – Red

I upped the exposure duration to 15 minutes, and in the last 30 seconds, a car drove by. I like how it turned out, though.

Trails – White

So having gotten the car in the last photograph, I figured I’d try again – to see if I could get a photo without people-interference. This time about a minute before the exposure ended, a truck drove through in the other direction.

In the end, I still think the photographs are amazing. 🙂
